New graphics card needed

Hi all,

Just realised that my graphics card I have will not support No Man's Sky, so need to look at my options upgrade wise.

Currently have the following:

i5 760
Asus P7P55D-E PRO
HIS ATI Radeon HD 6950
Corsair TX 650W PSU

Budget < £100

Any suggestions for an upgrade (new/used) would be great.

Have you got that i5 overclocked at all? They can do roughly 4-4.2 ghz I had my i5-750 to 4.3 ghz and was a cracking cpu. Back on topic you can get a 7970 ghz for around that price which would be a nice upgrade

How far from Leicestershire are you? On gumtree GTX 780 for £120 which isn't a bad price and still a good card today

The best new card is the AMD RX 460.

The best used you might be able to find is an R9 280X or a GTX 780.

There will be a reasonable boost in performance if you go with the RX 460, though it would appear nothing to get too excited about:

mad to think I've seen 780s go for low £100-£130 and 780 Ti go for around £150 recently, to think they were once £550+ gpus!!
