New Graphics Card please

Clutching at straws.....So now the caveat is no blower cards and how much warranty? :p

warranty isn't transferable in most cases anyway. only a very few manufacturers allow it. plus we all know blower cards are worth a lot less than any other card.

if anyone is clutching at straws here it's you. please stop. nobody wants a 1080ti any more. when that guy receives it and hears it's like a jet engine taking off he will instantly regret not spending £150 more on a 2070 super with decent quiet cooling and getting cod with it

If going AMD 5700 XT Devil at £399 all the way with game.

mid going NVIDIA then Palit 2070 Super at £449 with COD

But one just sold in MM in minutes....

Palit GTX 1080 Ti Super Jetstream sold for £320 out of warranty on Nov 9th in MM

NEXT

I'm also sure someone bought magic beans 9 days ago too.

Still doesn't mean that is was a smart buy.

Maybe take your Rose tinted sunglasses off.

How much did you pay for your 1080ti again?

blower card - next
3 months warranty - if it's even transferable - which it isn't - next

try harder next time though

If that's my EVGA 1080 Ti that sold yesterday, then YES the warranty is transferable and in future check your facts instead of posting your usual bull.

Hehe, nice to se this thread devolved into the usual argument. Always the GFX card forum....

I hope Gman got some use out of it. If you're still reading, I really would go nvidia, with that monitor it would be silly not to. Gsync and Freesync are definitely a good thing, you want that, and with a Gsync monitor you need an nvidia card to take advantage of it.

i'm sure your 3 months remaining warranty will be of great use.

evga are one of the few that do. many of the others don't so maybe you should check your facts first?

buying second hand is always a risk as evga could change their policy at any time.

Still a big risk though, so it has 4 months remaining warranty?

Whats to say it will fail in the 5 month?

Buyer will be £320 out of pocket.

There are 5700xt around 350-400 new that come with a game and 3 year warranty I'd be tempted by those personally, as it looks as if amd has sorted it's drivers out.

indeed...

he sways from one thing to another like a tree in the wind depending on how he wants to supposedly win an argument.

with no real facts to back it up.

2 year warranty - decent
after market cooling - decent

£440 - yeah no thanks for a second hand card. can get a 2070S with COD for £470 new. SO buying that for £440 would be stupid. It's worth £350 though but people are offering £400+ for it.

Like I said before second hand 1080ti pricing is far too high for the decent ones. The crap ones I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. Especially a blower card with 3 months warranty. I wouldn't touch a blower card with 2 years warranty either. I'd need to downclock it to 1080 performance to make it run quiet. Max I'd pay for a blower is £200 with decent warranty. I've had a blower card before a 1080 and I'd rather not touch one again.

As I said before GPU prices are too high and that has also inflated the second hand GPU market to the point people ar epaying stupidly high prices for gear which is nowhere near worth it.

You need to say NEXT at the end to wind him up Sonny ;)

I loved doing that to him whenever we debate and he starts with his Next thing :D
