Afternoon all,

Up until Sunday I had a Radeon 5850 which I had since Jan 2010 and have since sold to my brother. I am looking to get a new card but I do not know what to get. I am too confused after doing my own research.

I use Photoshop, Premiere, Dreamweaver, Flash and Capture One from Phase One and rarely do I play games these days. But I will be playing Witcher 2 for sure (this will be the only game I play this year, I think).

I have looked at the NVIDIA 480, 560 and the Radeon 6950 and at the moment am thinking about going for NVIDIA due to GPU acceleration support for some of the Adobe applications.

My budget is around £150 - £200 but please note I will not be gaming apart from Witcher 2 so would rather not spend money if it will go to waste. Would a Quadro be the card to get? Could I game with that? So many questions....

Machines Specs:
AMD Phenom II (unlocked) 3 Cores @3.6GHZ, 8GB RAM, 24" @1920 x 1080 and 19" @ 1440 x 900

Does anyone have experience using the NVIDIA cards with Photoshop and Premiere? Is CUDA worth it? I know I can use OpenGL with the ATI cards which was fine but have never used CUDA.
