New Graphics Card

I assume you're using PCI-e. At that price the best you can do is an X1950 Pro 512 MiB. If you could stretch a bit more you could get an 8800 GTS 320, a much better card, for £178.59.

You could either try and get a second hand X1950XT or buy a X1950Pro. Depending on the res that you play at either the 256mb or 512mb version.

See your sig. Has that got anything to do with a game name btw?. I know a Call of Duty player called Cunning Stunts.
 
Ok I was persuaded to go that lil extra and ordered this Beast

OcUK GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

I feel Much more confident that this'll run Bioshock :D

I never looked back since getting mine as an upgrade to a x800xt

Bioshock needs Shader Model 3.0 to run but the x800's only do Shader Model 2.0b. There is a hack to get it running on Shader Model 2.0 but the results aren't so pretty. I'm going to hold out playing till I get my new system next month.
