new graphics card

I am in need of a new graphics card, as i cannot play GTAIV with my current set up. The only problem being is that i have no idea what im doing, so need some advice on what graphics card to get.

Current set up

AMD 64X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3.00 GHz
2Gb RAM
ATI Radeon X1200 series graphics piece o ****
Windows Vista

So what is a good (and cheap) graphics card to get that will allow me to play GTA IV

Wait till the 23rd when the new ATI 58xx series come out. Make your decision based on the price of cards after the release.

GTA IV benefits more from Quadcore also, i believe you get double the minimum framerate over dual core.
