Buy 2 x ATI5850s

Please can you help as i cant make my mid up what to do.
Dont worry about avalibilty.

it all depends on how much you want to spend on your computer mate. obviously best thing to do would be to go for the best :P but its mainly dependant on your gaming style. eg. do you want EVERYTHING maxed out and have a great experience, or just save a bit of cash for all the upgrades we're all going to be needing in a few months. i have 1 5870 and i find it a truly amazing card, 5970.. well, im sure you can think that for yourself. i also hear the 5850s are extremely good at overclocking.. so there a few factors. i'd stay away from 5970 due to price though imo

you've got the BF Graphics card, high perfrmance/high priced performer, or the underdog with some tricks up its sleeve. hard choice, i feel sorry for you! glad i got my card :P

Well i have a budget of £550 for the graphics card as my budget of 2k for my new machine has that much left. So all of them are affordable. I was leaning towards 2 x 5850s which is the same price as a 5970. I will be playing my games at a res of 1600 x 1200 with everything maxed out.

yea i would highly recommend then 2x 5850s. their price coupled with oc ability. specially since the res you're playing at. you'll be able to up the aa and everything, making for a very enjoyable experience. i've got a crap cpu (q6600 oc to 3.0) mobo etc, and my 5870 is doing wonders for me in games, so if you have a half decent cpu you'll be flying through most everything, INCLUDING crysis (im running it maxed out, 8xAA, 1680 x 1050, and the game runs awesomely. now imagine 2 58xx series chips in games :-D

Ive decided on a 5870 XFX xxx card and buy another one later when price drops. Thanks for the help.
