Hence I won't even think of getting a console, I just hope they bring out the pc version 6 months after like usual. At least you can upgrade your pc if you have too little power .

GTA has never had slow down on my pc.
I noticed it when I played it on the ps2 and on the xbox (which was a port of the ps2 version). I thought with the game being built ground up for each console that there would be better performance.

I'd rather have lower graphics and get a smooth frame rate than experience slowdown and jerkiness.

I only ever remember getting slowdown in GTA:SA on the PS2. Never noticed it in 3 or VC.

I noticed it in 3 on the xbox, when it rained and stuff. The xbox never seemed to handle that well, nor steam.
