So, I've finally grabbed an SSD, so naturally want to make it my boot drive. If I unplug all the other drives except for it, and install windows onto it before I reconnect the other drives, then it will be all ready and I won't have the problem I had once before where I ended up with all the boot information on a different hard drive, or anything like that. However, won't I then end up with two hard drives with Windows installed, which both want to boot up? How can I stop this?
Also, once I have the SSD working, I can delete the windows folder from my current hard drive, and will I easily be able to access all the stuff in my documents from the other drive? I know windows can sometimes be a little fiddley with security and permissions and so on, how simple will this be?
Thanks!
