I have been using a western digital for the past few years and think it is time to replace it. I ran HD Tune and this is the result

Doesn't seem very good to me. So i was thinking about this, 2 500GB in Raid 0 and the 1TB for storage. Are these drives good or can i get better ones for around that price?

Thanks in advance

You thought about upgrading to an SSD? Biggest noticeable performance upgrade anyone can make.

Also if you're going to use RAID 0 you'll want that for storage as reading and writing lots of large files is where RAID 0 excels - as opposed to random access time which is important in OS and application usage. SSD random access time is typically close to 0ms and RAIDing doesn't improve random access time of mechanical disks.
