Hey there all, I'm probably being quite dense here, but I've just got a new Raptor, would there be any problems with putting vista on it and changing the boot order to switch between XP on another hard drive and Vista on the Raptor? Thanks

i dual boot xp and vista but mine are on the same drive with 2 partitions. There would be no problem as far as i can see with installing vista on the separate drive and then changing the order in the bios (which is what i think you are proposing). Its nicer to just have the dual boot screen though so u can select the OS on bootup more easily and specify a default OS etc.

a quick google shows this:

i cant vouch for its accuracy or whether it works though... and if u read further down the post someone suggests you just have to install vista on the separate hard drive and it will automatically do the bootloader thing anyway.

Hi you should have no problems I run XP on one drive and Vista on the other, make sure you install XP first or it will not work, then you get the option to choose on the boot up screen.
