I have just built this inside of the case!, for some unknown reason after the bios screen the pc reboots and starts again in a loop.

I have not touched anything in the bios but on 1 boot i was succesfull to install windows.

Any ideas ?

flash to latest bios first, use a usb memory stick and flash through the bios with qflash

extract the bios to the usb stick then press end or f8 in the bios to enter qflash

unplugged any usb devices? just to see if its causing the loops

using onboard graphics or graphic card?

what hdd/ssd are you using? makesure you set the operating system hdd as first boot device in the bios

I have just tried with no USB plugged in bu still 1 beep bios screen then reboot.

I have a 6970 card and ocz agility 3 SSD with 2 Samsung drives.

Anymore ideas?

try bare minimum for example

one Samsung ssd with the os on(not sure which drive you installed windows to)
one ram stick in the second ram slot from cpu socket
no graphics card just use onboard and plug monitor display cable into the motherboard

then see what happens

Hi Wazza300,

A massive thank you for the help!, I have no idea why but once i removed the SSD my system is now up and running installing windows again.

I managed to get windows onto the SSD in IDE mode but for some unknown reason my pc no longer likes the SSD drive. I am installing windows onto the spindle samsung f3 so hopefully will be up and running.

Do you have any ideas why this is happening ?.

I have tried new sata cables with different connectors. I have the mobo on the box with nothing extra installed.

I have tried some different ram in all slots but still nothing.

I have noticed the mobo is hitting code 02 and then rebooting but the manual has no code for 02.

seems strange

could try flicking the bios switch to the backup bios and see if that's any better

not sure what 02 code is either, with a successful boot it should read A0

idk if you have spare psu or memory to try with?

haswell is picky with psu's but xfx should be fine esp gold rated ones, still you do get faulty units

could give the wires a wiggle just incase its a loose connection somewhere

could be motherboard. i've bought a cheap motherboard to keep me ticking over whilst my is beening rma.

if you take everything out and slowly re built it.
only way to check. my prob was the same but it was very inconsistent in errors.

NB: worth checking fan cables for shorts maybe

Still no luck the windows installed succesfull but again after BIOS the pc reboots, the other psu cannot boot the pc but the lights show.

What do you think is the fault?.

do you see windows logo at all?

and its fine/stable until windows completes its install?

tried unplugging the dvd rom drive and just keep the ssd/os drive attached?

I don't get to see the windows logo, I get into bios with no problems. Sometimes it will let me install windows but most of the times it reboots.

I have tried 3 hdds, spare ram and have nothing installed.

well its either psu or motherboard

its rare for faulty cpu's

one last thing to check is for any bent cpu socket pins, look carefully and closely idk if it would cause intermittent instability but its worth a check

then I would rma the board or try and borrow another psu to test with

non of your components look out of place to me so it should boot and run fine
