New Haswell build rebooting after BIOS

:-( My motherboard is found to be working perfectly fine!. I hope the psu is broken or i have lost £22 postage and RMA fee's £23.

What a nightmare!.

I think i am going to cry if the next RMA is 'fault not found'. I was hoping they would use the motherboard and Power supply together then fault find from there.

Well 40 minutes have passed after getting a email saying 'Replacement Order' The product CA-010-XF on RMA RMAxxxxx will be sent to you on a new order with order number xxxxxxx.

I have waited for a message explaining the fault but nothing so far, CA-010-XF is the power supply!.

Will i receive a fault report or is this the faulty item?.

Fault still persists with new PSU, phoned tech support and said to take it to a repair centre!.

Also tried a new western digital blue hd 1tb :-(.

so they tested the board and no fault found? tested the psu and said it was faulty and you just tried new psu and its still doing it?

Do you have a spare PC?
Does your X-OC build have a CDROM drive or do you have a USB memory key you can boot from?

What happens if you were to boot from an Ubuntu CD/USB Key straight into memory without using an SSD/HDD - for example?

That will clarify whether or not the board is able to process.

What version of the BIOS are you running?

What code are you getting on the debug LED on the board?

I had a similar issue with my Gigabyte Sniper 2 mb - PC would boot into splash screen and then reboot continually. This was after 18 months of faultless service. Went back under RMA as a cold boot loop and was repaired by GB.

When I googled 'gigabyte cold boot loop' there were lots of people having the same issues.

It's alive!!!!!!!!

New battery, New dvd drive, New hard drive and a brand spanking new
W7 disk.

I have managed a reboot several times and have the other hard drives attached.

Now if this keeps up I will start installing it into the case.

Then overclock the bloody thing! For been such a bugger.
