new HD problem, PC doesnt see drive?

hi,

I bought this HD http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-036-SA&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=940

I installed it correctly, andbooted my pc.

I go to "my Computer" and no hard drive.

then I go to device manager and the drive is there, its working properly, and its all fine.

same if I run 3d mark and check the specs, its all fine.

so what am I doing wrong? how come I can't see the drive in windows when I go to my computer.

You need to go into Disk Management (right click on my computer and pick manage) and partition and format the drive before it will be accessible.

I am in disk management but I don't see where I can do what you say:

if I rightclick on my new harddrive, it says " properties or dynamic disk"

edit: never mind I got it.

Are you right clicking on the grey bit where it says "Disk1" or the white bit where it says "Unallocated", you need to be clicking on the latter.
