Well here goes I realise this maybe be cheating a little with two areas in one thread but I was wondering if anyone can help me decide what to get for my pc. Basically what i'm after is a new HDD and a new DVD burner. (as the current one only works as and when it likes and is cream in a black case )
The new HDD must be quiet not to fussed about size but I would like to place my OS on this drive and use my current one as storage (but only if people think faster loading times would be achieved) as this is what i like :p

As for the DVD burner not to fussed must be black  but other than that am not fussed.

Price is the only issue am not looking really to spend over £70 all in.

I have found these but wanted other peoples opinions really,

and

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CD-088-SA

this totals up to Total: £63.43

Here is my system spec below if you need any more info just ask :)

Windows Xp (vista prolly around xmas time)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200 AM2 2.2GHz
Western Digital Caviar 120GB S300 8mb 7200rpm
Gigabyte AM2 nForce 430 ATX Audio Lan
3gb 4200 RAM
HIS 256mb x1950 PRO
NZXT Zero Crafted Series Aluminium Full Tower

Any help on this is greatly appreciated thanks :)

The hard drive is supposed to be amongst the quietest you can get, you probably won't notice too much of a difference in speed compared to your current drive although splitting into OS and storage is a good idea anyway.

The DVDRW is fine, they tend to be much of a muchness from the little I know of them. :)
