I installed a new hdd today, (500gb samsung F3), but its not showing up in bios, also upon switching the system on it hangs at the asus full screen logo, if i hit del it eventually displays the boot screen (ram info cpu speed etc) then if i hit del again i can finally get into the bios. My other 2 hdd's and optical drive are showing fine, os drive is a samsung F1 320gb, second storage drive is a western digital caviar 250gb, sata configured as ide.

Could this be a faulty drive? Thanks for any advice/input.
