New HDD not recognised in My Computer

[SOLVED] New HDD not recognised in My Computer

But it is recognised in Device Manager. I've tried rebooting, nothing. When I first started up with it installed, Windows recognised and installed the drivers as normal, but it's just not showing up in Device Manager. Any ideas why, and how I can fix this? It's a Western Digital 1.5TB drive, if that makes any difference.

Right click on my computer, click manage, then disk management. It will probably show up there as 'unallocated'. From thewre you can format it and assign it a drive letter
