My 2TB Seagate is on it's way out. Seatools fails test. The disk is currently still readable, so I reckon there maybe a bad block or two causing the problem (it started with a disk error in Windows, with BOINC the culprit I think). As suggested by Seatools for Windows I've run Seatools for DOS and that couldn't see the disk (very strange) despite me still being able to read and write to it in Windows. Anyway, going to RMA it with Seagate (under warranty until Dec 14).
I want to (hopefully) clone the disk to a new one so I don't lose any of the data (nothing unrecoverable, but got loads of downloads, Steam games, everything else is backed up). Thinking about increasing capacity and keen on a fast drive to help with games.
Any recommendations ?
