New HDD, worth RMAing for bad sectors?

Hello,

Just built new machine with a Seagate 500GB Hdd and Vista.

I thought I'd screwed the Vista installation while updating drivers but reinstalled and put them on fine. Then starting installing WoW and got random copy errors.

I did a fix and repair on the disk which cured 8 bad clusters but is it worth returning the drive for a new one or should it be okay now?

I've heard conflicting things on this.

It shouldn't have any bad clusters if it's a new HD.

You'd be wise to send it back, especially before you start putting any data on it.
