New HDTV

Progressive is better than interlaced for movement but only when it is double the framerate of interlaced. Because an interlaced video at the same rate as a progressive video has double the images. For a console though progressive is always better as interlaced halves the framerate.

Final spec

After wondering round town today, i have come to to a final spec.

40-46" LCD HD from about £1500-£1800. (intergrated Digital freview, if possible)

I know its a hard price but i saw a couple of samsungs and phillips around this price.

Anybody know of any more TV or sites which i could check out?

thanks.

ok heres my three choices as it goes.

Phillips 42PF7621D

LG 42LP1D

Samsung LE46M51BX

The samsung is the only one that doesnt come with freview intergrated, is this a problem or not really as i have sky and a freview box.

If anybody got any heartbreaking information they found out after buying their set please tell! :D
