Hi all, in the process of completing on a new house (!), so I think it's only fair I furnish it with a new TV and sound system. 
Complete n00b to TV and home stereo setups - what's the go to these days?
In terms of TVs, I'd like something around 55", mainly for watching films/documentaries on. Won't be gaming on it. To accompany it I'm looking for a soundbar and it'd be nice if I could use the soundbar independently from the TV, via bluetooth (phone/laptop/etc.)
Budget of around 1,500 quid for the pair.
