just done a new i5 build with the i5 750 cpu asus p7p55d deluxe and 4 gig of the geil 2130 memory i got the comp running ok with the windows 7 trial that i was allready using had a blue screen a few times but its settled down now fine and the memory is running at its top speed ran the windows index and got the cpu up from 6.1 to 7.3 the memory has went from 5.5 to 7.9 not done any overclocking on cpu as i am still running with the intel fan on cpu i got another 2 drives to connect yet and will be using one of them for the clean install of win 7 preordered for £45 i'm using a geforce 8800 ultra which cost me about £340 or maybe more when i bought...can anyone tell me how far behind this card is nowadays to the new ones and if i should change ...reluctant to dispose of my 8800 because of what it cost me my graphics index score was 6.1...has anyone found a really good cooler yet for the cpu? was thinking of the corsair water filled but not made my mind up yet.
