Representing the cream of the crop of today's bleeding edge performance hardware, OcUK's 'Extreme Bundles' are selected to satisfy the needs of the most demanding enthusiast.

OcUK Overclocked Bundles feature carefully selected components tested to assure compatability & stability, guaranteeing the integrity of the overclock.

We worry about the fiddling and tweaking, you just enjoy the performance.

This bundle ships pre-built and pre-overclocked direct from our Technical Department. All you need to do is attach the CPU cooler and power it up.

- Maximum Speed
- Maximum Stability
- Maximum Compatibility
- Maximum Overclocking

This Bundle contains the following components:

1 X LATEST Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz @ 4.00GHz!
1 X Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
1 X Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel
1 X Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound (3.5g)

Note - All Bundles are built and installed on demand and usually ship within 48 hours of the order being placed. During exceptionally busy periods this time can increase by 48 hours.

Note - Please note that adding in additional memory to the spare slots will require new BIOS settings and the maximum clock speed attainable may be significantly reduced.

Note - The bundle operates above manufacturer specifications, as such it requires a quality power supply to operate with guaranteed stability. OcUK recommend a quality brand PSU for use with all our bundles such as the Corsair TX & HX range.

Note - Updating the BIOS on the overclocked bundle range will void the warranty on the overclock. If you update the BIOS we will no longer be able to provide support for configuring and maintaining the CPU overclock.

Only £607.98 inc VAT.

The higher the GHz the higher the heat output, i know for a fact we could do higher overclocks for the winter months as its so cold, but we have to ensure the same overclcok will work in worst case case thermal conditions i.e +40°c summer heat.

Inevitably if they are clocked too high they overheat in the summer months and people aren't happy.

All our bundles come with a 1 Year Warranty too :)

Hi Gareth,

The cooler that is default with the asus board is selected so it will fit correctly with the slightly weird VRM heatsinks. I will re-look into this tomororw though with tech and see what we can do.

No not at all. Im simply saying that were at at the limits of conventional air cooling and the thermal capabilities they have in dissipating heat.

All our bundles will operate all year round. But if we clocked them too high now in summer they may fail, which is not what we want to happen.

Some of our competitors may do higher clocks but i very much doubt they will be stable during the summer and they wont be done with the full manufacturers endorsement.

Hi Gareth,

Sorry i must have missed you post earlier.

We have no problem supplying our 4GHz bundles with a H50, infact i have just updated the cooler options on or 4GHz bundles, so you can purchase it on both our Gigabyte and Asus Platform

The patriot memory we once had in stock has now run out and unfortunately the price has now risen due to us having to use now more expensive Corsair memory.

I will update the original post to reflect this.

Please create a thread under technical issues in the customer service forum also stating the order number and issues your experiencing its easier to post pictures and settings there.

Hi Xe-Cute.

Why not buy the Corsair but replace the original fan ;). A lot of people like the new Akasa Apache Fans and run them in a push-pull config for best performance and quietness.

The Noctua will be the quietest out of the box as it comes with a in-line resistor to slow down the fans should you need them to be uber quiet, this of course sacrifices airflow.

Hi,

The fractal cases tend to run warmer as they have acoustic sound deadening material which inevitability keeps heat in.

The overclocked bundles come with all the hardware tested and the processor in the motherboard but you will need to fit your own heat sink, which is quite easy.

The overclock is kept as a profile so should you loose the setting you can simply reload it, so there is no risk of loosing it.

If im honest dont worry too much about push pull, it does work better but you will need additional fan screws so if you dont have them then you cant do it as they are not supplied.

Using some one else VAT number is fraud ;) Even if you did use it it wouldn't benefit you as you still have to pay the full amount and then they claim it back at the end of the year.

Phil

I just thought, why dont you pay a bit extra and have it built by us. Full system warranty and no worries about breaking it then :p

Only thing your missing is the PSU
