New iCal Buggy?

Anyone else upgraded and wished they hadn't?

It messed up all my calendar colours, and resizing events is REALLY buggy, jolts back to its original position almost every time then try again and it might stick... pita

not notice a different in iCal at all here did not know there was a new version when did it come out as it not showing in software update on my system unless it did itself without me realising

its something that happens through mobileme... and everyone needs to upgrade by early may apparently?

I dont have mobile me. So are u saying if I want carry on using iCal I gotta upgrade to mobile me?

No, you don't have to upgrade to mobileme. The online version has switched to calDAV, it won't affect you if you don't use it.

Personally I switched months ago and haven't noticed any problems.

I love to have mobile me but is it really worth the £59 a year thou I have trailed it and liked it

I think mobile me is pretty handy, get it from the bay though for around £40 don't pay full whack

I did look at them on the bay but some people i know had probs with the key code if not careful who get it from

Jeez I wish I could put this back to how it was... I use my iCal for planning our projects and I need to rely on it... right now it will randomly add back in items that are deleted, delete new items or add / remove to-do items :eek:

Yes, well worth it...

I'm a PhD student and have the iDisk on my HDD so when i make changes to any of my documents it syncs them onto the internet iDisk. Never going to lose my data (touch wood). It also allows me to access documents on the iDisk on my iPad when I am in the lab...

Well worth it in my opinion! But each to their own... Some people go the free option with google mail and dropbox (or something like that), but I just love how it works...

How are people finding iDisk these days, on the few occasions I've given it a chance its been very slow and unreliable.

Have things changed? I just use Dropbox now?

I have no problems, I think once I have gone to use a document on my iPad from my iDisk and it hasn't been there but a quick manual sync from my MBP and it was there...
