call me weird. but all stills or video footage of this incident has fascinated me from the first time i saw it

just watching the video of it is fascinating, i dont know why but i just keep watching it, cant really believe what im seeing, even now.

I was only 12 when it happened. It felt like yesterday. I didn't know what to think when it appeared on the news, live in time for the attack and collapse of the second tower. I did know that the world would become a very different place afterwards, at least. Perhaps not for the better. It feels so strange, that I can actually somewhat debate the events of the day and its ramifications with those who weren't even born back then.

We were in Malta at the time. I turned on the TV just before we went out for an evening meal and there it was. Barely a word was said in the restaurant, all you could hear was the sound of knives and forks. That meal didn’t last very long, we came back and watched the TV until the sun came up.
