Hi Guys,

I wonder if any of you have had come across the above error code when doing a new install, its always at 27%?

Windows 10 is on a USB stick straight from MS
ASUS Maximus X Hero motherboard
2x 8Gb of Trident Z DDR4
500Gb 960 EVO M.2 SSD

The SSD has been formatted using the windows option on install.

Searching the web I have found and tried the following to try and get over the 27% barrier but still no joy:

Removing a stick of Ram at a time just incase one stick is corrupt
Removing everything from the USB ports incase these were conflicting

If any of you out there have experienced the same or have any ideas how I can solve this it will be greatly appreciated.

I googled Windows 10 error code 0x80070570 came up with 2 possible causes that 1 of RAM stick could be corrupted or failed. Or your USB stick's NTFS partition could be corrupted.

You already tested removed 1 RAM stick a time so you will need to insert USB stick in other PC with Windows 10 and scan USB stick check for errors and it will be repaired.

Then I guess you will need to reformat USB stick and then create Windows 10 USB stick again because the files copied to USB stick was corrupted that why Windows 10 installation had trouble copied files from USB stick which stuck at 27% caused error code 0x80070570. After you done created new Windows 10 USB stick you should scan USB stick for errors one more time to make sure there will be no errors then you can try install Windows 10 to see if it will pass 27%.

Thank you - I downloaded a new ISO from Microsoft and it worked 1st time. The usb stick purchased with Windows 10 pre installed was a dud.

Thanks again.
