guy's just a quick question.

I have just brought a new motherboard, and it has got raid on it,

I have got a raptor 36gig sata hdd which i will use for my xp operating system, and i have a 160gig western digital sata hdd, with 3 partition's on it,

Do i have to use a sata driver disc, or would it be just plug and play

ie
raptor in sata1
160gig in sata 2

or do i need to use raid?

sorry if i sound a bit thick, but if u dont ask, u will never know
 
What sort of motherboard is it?

If it's a Nvidia one then just use the Nvidia SATA ports, if your going to be using the Sil controller then you'll need drivers.

You can use nLite and make a new Windows installation CD with the SATA drivers on if you wanted.
