Just asking (not really derailing but this topic seems to be appropriate), the E8300 will be about the same as an E6550, the E8400 will be about the price of an E6750 and the E8500 will be around the price of the E6850 right?

Where can i find info on these chips? Will there be anything to rival the e2180 at that end of the price spectrum?

Intel decided not to produce the E2200. The Wolfdale CPU's look very good and clock really high though. I can see a lot of people going for these over the Quad's.
Not sure which PDF you were after but they all open okay on my linux lappy.. from the 45nm_spec&pricing.pdf:Where can i find info on these chips? Will there be anything to rival the e2180 at that end of the price spectrum?
