New intel CPUs?

'I wonder how those prices compare to the existing ones?'

I made a table for another forum, and the british prices are off a different site but it gives a good idea.

Code:

Hope this helps.

Edit: Yeah, I'm eyeing an E8400... They have the same multi as a E6850, are cheaper and are 45nm. How can you lose?

So after shop mark-up the e8200 can be expected to be about £100? Any comparisons on these against existing chips, may still get an e2180, wondering if it's worth holding out til after xmas, twice the price not likely to be twice the performance right

They're a bit faster clock-for clock than the current Core 2 processors, I think it was a 3600Mhz QX9650 outpaced a 4Ghz QX6850 or something. That being said, the new dual core Penryns are phenomenal buys.
