New Ipads

Don't think the MacRumors site has particularly had any evidence of a 13" iPad.

I think it'll be a retina for the mini and incremental performance updates all round, thinner, better battery etc.

That'll be good enough for me. My iPad1 is getting long in the tooth so I've got money waiting for the iPad5.

Obviously early days, but what is an expected actual instore release date?
I was going to go buy an ipad tomorrow for work use, but might as well wait and get a newer one!

I don't own a tablet yet. But i could do with a tablet. Might as well wait it out. Hopefully it'll be a nice upgrade fromt he current iPads.

Going by recent launches of products, probably at least two weeks after the announcement. So start of November most likely.

Parts are already leaked, some thing are pretty obvious too - for the big one anyway:
iPad Mini style design (thinner, smaller bezel)
A7X
Better cameras
Touch ID

Something appeared today.

But as for the Oct 22 event, all I want for Christmas is a retina iPad mini. I love my current one to bits. Couldn't be without it.

The only ones out of that list that are viable are the iPad 5 and Mini 2. The others probably have no chance of appearing. 12.9" iPad?

You mean at the event in a fortnight or ever at all? :p I can see all those products appearing next year. Especially the bigger iPhones. (Did you see the timing column?)

Yes, I can't see any of them appearing any time soon, definitely not in 2014. A lot of them don't make sense. The MBA going down to 12" and a larger iPad considering the Mini sold so well?

iPhone going bigger will probably happen, definitely definitely not in Q2 2014 though, not with the 5s and 5c just coming out.

Apple TV maybe yea, forgot that one. Apple Watch, don't think it will happen at all.

Would love to see stylus support like the Samsung Note range.
I know it will never happen given Steve Jobs hated them so much but it would really help when using note taking apps etc.

A slightly bigger version would be great too, especially if they are managing to save weight as it would hopefully not weigh much more than the current ones do now.

Love how the iPad 5 will have a much slimmer waist, its like getting something closer to the mini but all the power of the full sized tablet. I will be getting a space gray on first day. cant wait.

Waiting for the new one to come out, allowed to spend a few hundred pounds at work on something (from our suppliers) so might as well just upgrade from iPad 3 to iPad 5... Nothing is wrong with the 3 but I don't need anything else so why not.

If the mini 2 is gimped again compared to the full iPad, I'm going for iPad 5.

It will be, Apple is a company that loves their profit margins and the iPad Mini is already much lower then the iPad. I think they might put in a A6 and 1GB ram, but outside of that I don't see much else, and surely won't see a retina display that everyone wants.
