Guessing your referring to that draytek? would be nice to have that mounted high up on the wall out the way.
 
Love to see pics after you have tidied that lot up! :) Maybe some more if you replace any of the kit at a later date? :p

Exactly this - velcro wrap.

Cable ties do not need to be that tight to deform the twists inside and they may not be tight now, but if someone snags a cable accidently and pulls a cable into a tight bend or into the cable tie it can cause the performance of the cable to fail outside spec.

Ah yes, and cable ties at regular intervals also messes things up - so people trying to be ultra tidy and neat are doing more harm than good.

Overtime or out of hours work will be needed to sort this out. It's actually not too bad.

If they disagree then just start work on it during the working day, it will be fun. :D
