New keyboard limits my game

Hey all

I used to game with a normal generic ps2 keyboard. It was fine, but with my new build i bought a Saitek Eclipse.

Great keyboard, just a little trouble with MOH:AA. The controls i've got used to for the past couple of years no longer work, certain key combinations dont have any effect when pressed at the same time.. whereas with the ps2 keyboard it was fine.

I thought USB keyboards were meant to be able to have more buttons pressed at the same time than a ps2 board? Or is it just a problem with the game?

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

I found it depends what keys.

My eclipse can usually do about 4 key combos at once, sometimes 3 for the "lesser used" keys.

Well the keys in question are the numpad keys (i use a weird control set up for this game).

But the thing is, the game is fine on my brothers system.. so it must be my keyboard settings or something?

I was told i needed to do something in bios with a usb keyboard setting

I looked in bios and it said USB Keyboard Controler = OS, so i've changed it to BIOS.. gonna give it a whirl in a minute
