New Keyboard & Mouse Required

I can vouch for the Microsoft Sidewinder X8, although its not the most comfortable mouse I've ever held.

It never lags or has tracking problems, uses bluetrack so works on any surface, I tried it on my leg and it was perfect.

I'm considering replacing it with a G700 just for the comfort, but probably won't bother until there's a problem with it.

What is the size like of the X8? Plus the scroll in the centre, does it click or just spin when using it?

Clicks and moves left to right, for side scrolling.

Size is quite large, only way to use this mouse is to palm it and I'd imagine it would fit someone with large hands like a glove.

I'd get the G700 though if you find them at similar prices.

Reason I mentioned the X8 was you can find it quite cheaply, seen it for £40 thereabouts. For that price its a no brainer.
