OK so yesterday I killed my Saitek Eclipse and now I need a replacement.
My budget is in the 50 beer voucher region, though I am happy to push it if the keyboard is worth it.
I was very happy with my Eclipse, so that is a good a starting point as any for the type of keyboard I am after. I do a bit of gaming, mostly FPS, but also a fair bit of typing so whatever you lot come up with should be comfortable for both.
I am more than happy with membrane-style boards. I don't know much about this new-old-fangled mechanical keyboard malarkey, too many discussions about various coloured fruit in describing the keys :/. They're all way outside my budget anyway. Apparently the mechanisms are made from unicorn horns looking at the prices.
My only other stipulation is a wired keyboard if possible. Zero point in being wireless since it never moves from my desk.
