hey guys im currently looking for a new keyboard can you guys recommend any? i was thinking about the saitek eclipse? but am open to suggestions.

thnx

There's 2 keyboards that will most likely to be reccomended in this thread,

1. Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard
2. Saitek eclipse (Original)

I say go with option 2, I'm tired of large keyboards full of extra buttons I don't use, the Saitek is a lovely simple keyboard thats that has nice soft keys that are a joy to type on and an adjustable wrist rest that when fully extended feel's very comfortable, and personaly I think it's one of the best looking too, I do like the idea of the matrix display on the G15 but the keyboard is just soooooooooo big.

I would recommend the logitech g11 if you dont need the g15 lcd:
- Very high quality backlight: better then eclipse.
- has 18 extra (programmable) keys and has media keys, expecially the media keys are a must for me and i dont know how people can manage without.
- Silent keys, also very soft to press.

red Saitek eclipse looks the part. However, I wanted to get wireless keyboard and mouse.. is that a bad idea you think ?

I can get the Saitek eclipse but do you have a wireless mouse recommendation.. specifically for gaming and browsing...

ive been using that razer taranchula keyboard..... pretty damn good if you ask me... looks great with the razer copperhead too :p

I used to have the saitek eclipse... diddnt like it though... the backlit keys stopped working and found it was not very responsive...

I know many people will say this :Logitech Cordless G7 Gaming-Grade Laser Mouse

As far as I am aware this is a brilliant mouse, people's opinions differ on how long the battery lasts (i.e. one charges while the other is being used :)) Personally I would say Logitech mice are absolutely brilliant as is there customer service. I love my MX510 and as long as this keeps playing, I'm not changing :p

No mate what people will say is you don't read threads properly :p

My keyboard recommendation is the Speedlink Ultra Ally jobby. It's cheap compared to other decent keyboards and very hard wearing. Flush keys make it an ideal gaming KB and the weight is there to keep it in place. It's also small and fits on the pull out desk bit alongside your mouse no probs at all.

No I do believe that you haven't read the thread properly....if you see above he has said...

So I was merely recommending him a mouse, as he stated...no hard feelings :)

My apologys, i only read the O.P's posts. I take my comment back :)

I've been using the MX1000 for ages now and love it so that is my rec on a chordless mouse. Cheap as chips now so a great buy in my opinion.
