New Kit Kat Chunky Campaign

Tired them and not impressed tbh.

Choc fudge - tastes like a not so good kit cat caramel
Hazelnut - way to sweet and sickly. Not nice. Not a patch on a kinde bueno
Mint - Alright, but the normal size kit kat mints are 1000x better (imo other than orig, the best kit kat)
Cocnut - the best of the bunch, I'd buy again. There's a distinct lack of coconut confectionary. Bring back Coconut boost!

Peanut butter Chunky is the best chunky kit kay.

In order of pref (chunky)

Peanut butter
Caramel
Coconut
Mint
normal
Chocfudge
Hazelnut


why i type all this I dont know.
 
I was expecting a lot from that hazelnut one, like an extreme nutella, bueno mix.

It met both of them half way instead of both full way if that makes any sense?
Instead of them both being amazing and stuck together, they were both average, making a somewhat over average flavour.
 
I wish they still did the chocolate orange one from the last contest. I loooooooove chocolate orange. Apart from the classic Terrys chocolate orange, you dont get that many chocolate orange sweets.

Over average? Your being kind surely, i find the most unpleasing thing about the filling is it's texture, it isnt smooth like nuttella or bueno and seems very poorly blended with a lack of any prominent flavor, poor in my book :D

And why does no one use pecans in chocolate.... missing a trick if you ask me.

I mean it like this.

Kinder Bueno Flavour = 10/10
Nutella Flavour = 10/10

The kitkat is a mix of the two, but both average,

Say Kinder bueno 5/10 + nutella 6/10.

That gives an average of 5.5/10, which i rounded up to 6/10 for the benefit of the doubt.

By no means does it add up to the flavour of nutella or kinder bueno, but it is slightly over half way as good? If that makes any sense.
 
Mint one is good, but just the same as a normal mint Kit Kat anyway. Wasn't massively keen on the coconut one, which is odd because I like Bounty etc.

Haven't had the other two yet. I want the Caramel one back though, it was so good.
 
Only sampled Coconut, and tbh it didn't taste all that different.

Testing Mint and Fudge over the weekend.

White Chunky is still my fav.
 
Just popped into Morrisons at lunch and picked up one of each. Just had the Coconut, it's nice, but slightly disapointed there were no actual bits of coconut either in the chocolate or as a layer. Would have been nice to have a bit of a texture change imo. Will try the hazelnut next, but not a great fan of nuts. I like Kinder Bueno enough though, so it might be alright.
 
Well Mint we have pretty much had for years already, albeit in the form of regular sized KitKats so it's pretty obvious what they're going to be like. I also bought a Hazelnut KitKat in France over a year ago and saw them in Bulgaria too, along with a caramel one so they're nothing new. Meh. Coconut and fudge are the only 'new' flavours really but I am interested in trying the fudge one :)
 
Wasnt too impressed with the mint. Shame as i like the smaller kit kat mint ones.
Tried the hazelnut one 2 years ago in spain. Was fantastic. Not tried the others yet.
