New Kitten :)

To forget the old cat.

When our dog of 14 years died we were all unbelievably sad (As you would imagine), we got a new puppy around 3 months later, it was the best way to get over the grief. But we buried the old dogs ashes in the garden and planted a tree on top, now every time you see it you think of him.

I don't think there's any minimum time frame between the death of one and getting another, but it's certainly less than a year!

Mmm I understand that, I just wouldn't want the memories of the old pet to be overwritten so quickly by the new one...they're as much a member of the family as siblings etc are haha! We waited about 6 years between one of our cats dying and getting another one, though that was rather a long and drawn out wait which I did't appreciate.

She's not being overwritten, she's been buried and forever in the memory.
It's been a while and i'm giving her a loving home. What more could I want.
