got a brand new replacement battery for my laptop this morning at about 11.
plugged it in to charge it fully before using it, Batterymon says its capacity is 4290mAh / 4290mAh. (indicated capacity: 4400mAh)
after using the laptop almost all day (fully delpleted the battery) and bringing it home and fully charging it, Battery mon reports that its capacity is 3121mAh / 3780!
so, somehow, by charging, discharging fully and charging again, the RATED capacity has fallen by 510mAh and the maximum capacity has fallen by double that!
how is it even possible for the RATED capacity to fall? thats built into the batterys bloody circuitry!
*sigh* i'm not exactly made of money. if the battery continues to loose charge at this rate i'll need a new one by friday!
do you guys reckon i should talk to the fleabay seller?
