I've bought a dell laptop, I don't like windows 11. I have a windows 10 image

This is my first eufi type machine.

If I want to wipe it, do I burn the image using the eufi mode in Rufus. Disable secure boot in bios.

Boot from usb stick. Delete all partitions, create new one install windows. Reboot, enable secure boo then continue.

I'm used to installing windows on regular older machines.

Is my method ok?

You don't need to use Rufus. Download and run the media creation tool to create a bootable USB stick (it'll wipe the stick though): https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10
You don't need to disable secure boot.

I would normally secure erase the drive first, but if you don't have any data on there it'd be good enough to delete the partitions when you install Windows.

Cache faults means the data wasn't found in the cache and it had to go out to the drive to get the data. It's not faulty hardware. It's used as a performance metric usually when you're diagnosing poor system performance due to insufficient RAM.
