New LapTop Help Please

I need a new lappy but keep reading conflicting reviews ect, So hopefully you good people keep help.It ll be used for routing movies through my Tv, net surfing,some gaming ect

I'd like

Dual Core
3Gbish Ram
Good size HD 250'ish
Decent GFX (HD Ready)
HDMI port
Weights not a issue as it ll mainly be used at home.
Sorry to be vague but I am not great with lappys and ready need some
help.
I ve got around £500 to spend but could be increased if need be,

I doubt if you'll get a HDMI port with those specs, you could get a DVI>HDMI adaptor though

I'm pretty sure OCUK will have a couple of laptops similar to what you're after

a 15" dell studio would fit this criteria I think.
