New laptop with windows 8 and can't add user?

So my new uni laptop arrived whilst I was on holiday and my dad did the initial setup to check there weren't any issues (as if there were I wouldn't have time to wait for a replacement before uni).

However now I want to create a user profile/account in my name and delete his account - however I cannot for the life of me find the option to create a new account and it won't allow me to delete his account as it is the sole administrator on the machine.

I go into Control Panel - Manage Accounts and there is a link "Add a new user in PC setting" which I click but then under the "Users" tab there is no button to create a new account?

I'm totally new to Windows 8 and so maybe I'm missing something obvious?

Charms > Settings > Change PC settings > Users. There should be a + button underneath the "other users" heading.

Oh em gee! Feel like a total tool now, I never realised I wasn't scrolled down on that page so never saw the + button! I blame travelling today from holiday making my brain slow! Thanks!

Don't worry too much about it, the design of those menus isn't brilliant. Much better in 8.1.
