New Lian- Li PC-A10B

Here are some pictures of the case out of the box and sitting beside my old case. It’s really a beautiful case. The layout inside is much nicer than my old case and everything feels solid. I really like the simple look of the front. It is so much nicer in real life. Now I will see if I can figure out where everything goes.

Chris, did you get a cd/dvd bezel with the case?

I don't think I will have time to fit everything in the case tonight as its already late and I am tired and I am getting up early tomorrow... :o

crazyswede did you get it from OcUK

No... I was not very patient... so I ordered it from somewhere else and then 5 hours later it suddenly appeared on OcUK :p I let OcUK down :o ... but I did get it for just over £10 cheaper... but of course that place has no more stock.

what cooler you going to be putting in there crazyswede

To start off with I am going to be boring and keep the cooler that came with cpu. I will change it later on. My next purchase will probably be a new graphics card (Not a G80). I will probably change it when I change the motherboard. The case was Novembers computer bit purchase and I will have to wait until December before I make my next one :)

I am still alive....there are no sharp edges to cut yourself on in this case :) Sorry that I have not been posting...

I have nearly fitted everything. I have been so busy...oh well.

One thing is that the big psu fan points towards the case side with 1-2cm clearence.... turning it around does not look to be very hard... I will look at it tomorrow because I think I havedrunk too much tonight. :) :) I have been lucky in the past building pc when drunk but one day something will go wrong :D

Goodnight :)

If you use any of the 2 psu slots normally or both at the same time then the fan will point outwards towards the case sides with about 1cm gap for air. But you can flip it vertically and have one psu fan facing inwards. But to do this you need to bend one small bit of aluminium very slightly (I think). I have not done this yet, but I am going to try it, maybe tonight.

Hi, well as I've stated before, if my PSU had a second fan mounted on the bottom it would face inwards, as the all of the pictures I think have demonstrated. If you want to believe they won't that's up to you but mine would and without bending anything.

I think you are wrong :D Please don't be angry  :p

The case has been designed so that the side fan on a psu (which is sort of designed to suck air from the cpu heatsink area) points outwards. My psu has a side fan which is in the same position as all other psu fans that are on the side and there IS NO WAY you can make it point inwards without flipping the backing plate upwards. I sat there when I got it and tried all the combinations possible... but I could have course be wrong.... I will try tonight and take some pictures. My aim is to have it pointing inwards :)
