they are new and architectural ? (ie bulb can't be remove & is integrated)
sounds like some magnetic ressonance on inductors in them ... I would return them if they are new and claim under warranty otherwise, maybe send a recording to manufacturerer ... are they a well known brand ?
Check if it's just one or two bulbs by going round and maybe unplugging one by one.
Are they LED? Some LEDs buzz and some cheaper ones do it more...
Edit: it's really the power supply for the LEDs that can buzz but it's integrated into the bulb if 240V so... It's still "the bulb" buzzing in that case.
I replaced some MR16 downlight bulbs in my alcoves with LED bulbs and they buzz, so I rarely use them. I assume the lights aren't meant to have LEDs in them, so that's probably the same issue as you.
What bulbs are you using?
I had a similar issue, but with Dimmable LED downlights, i ended up replacing the wall switch to a LED compatible dimmer switch and that cured the issue.
right after a bit more investigation 4 holes/lights are fine
2 of the holes if I leave the bulb dangling its fine - but as soon as I push it into hole to secure it makes a slight buzzing - so I dont think its the bulb.....
seems surprising if some bulb holders cause a bulb in that slot to buzz ... are the failing holders close to another cable or something/pipe ?
even though you don't have a dimmer, are they dimmable bulbs ? they buzz immediately you turn on ?
[was going to put it in led thread - stumbled on this doc last week https://www.comms-express.com/assets/specs/Gen_2_LED_compatibility.pdf
which has some interesting comments on lap bulbs, and even though they are talking dimmable bulbs , I take that as indicative of their general build quality]
