You can change it back apparently;

  1. Type chrome://flags/#top-chrome-md in the address bar and press enter.
  2. Toggle next to the “UI Layout for the browser’s top chrome” flag to Normal.
  3. Restart Chrome by typing chrome://restart in the address bar and pressing enter.
Haven't tried it myself though.

Haven't tried it myself though.

No doubt designed to make the internet slower in order to sell faster newer hardware just to be able to perform the same old functions.

Also any way to get rid of the "Current User" crap? I don't support charades designed to maximise data milking potential.

I also hate it. I have a few issues. Like an immediate crash, hang chrome sometime. Why I had updated new version. This is my mistake.

I went back to v68 and disabled updates. There are standalone installers with older versions available.
