New m2 ssd needed - help with compatible drive

I have aGA-Z170X -UG motherboard, I need to upgrade my M2 card but unsure which way to go.
I am considering this if its compatible ?

Also, I will need to clone the existing drive - having read through some guiddes it seems simple enough creating a clone of it using the windows tools.

Z170 m.2 slots are pci-e 3, so you should be good with that drive. Looks like you also have a U.2 port, but affordable drives seem hard to find.
