. Bit of oneupmanship from BMW then, managing to squeeze out the same power from a slightly smaller engine than Audi!

Very nice. Ligher, more power and more fuel economy, with 2 more cylinders. I love the M series. Shame i'm never going to be rich enough to own one!

Mmmm very nice!! The shape of the car looks nicer and nicer everytime I see it aswell.

Now then, Rs4 or new M3, its starting to look like a tough one..............good job I dont have even a fraction of the funds to make such a decision

Was expecting the 420bhp, but:

8% less fuel consumption

and

Weight 202 Kg (15kg lighter than S54 Inline 6 cylinder)

too is really impressive.

I think it's a dreadful engine in what will be a rubbish car and I absolutely will not consider buying one

Do you reckon if I repeat this often enough I could save myself a huge wad of cash ? :eek:

All you need to do is look at the car, then you will be put off for life. Hideous styling. Seem like a good engien though.

Hi there

I think this car looks awsome and am pleased about the engine. Good power, RWD and its gonna be pretty lightweight. I forsee that the new M3 will be an RS4 killer.

I am tempted by one of these, but am amazed BMW only got 295Lb-Ft from a V8 engine, yes it has 250Lb-Ft available from my 2500rpm and its a high revving unit but I've got used to nearly twice the torque but can appreciate that this car will no doubt be absolutely sensational to drive.

Fantastic spec engine. The pinnacle of engineering at the moment.
damn shame its housed in such an ugly car.
