New macbook next week, advice please

Well now the new macbooks have been announced for next week i need to start asking you guys a couple of questions.....

I will be using my little sister to get education discount and a 3yr warranty, how much is the discount for someone at a college (not uni)?

Will i be ok buying this online using her name and paying with my card? or Would i be best drving to my nearest apple store with her which is about 45 mins away? There is a reseller close to me, do resellers ofter edu discount?

How long do you think going on experience of new products will i likely have to wait for delivery?

I'm a pc user of 15 years, is it true once i go mac i'll never go back?

Either you know Steve Jobs or are psychic! Nobody knows for sure what next week will bring, however, once you know it is easy to phone up and blag the education discount. I don't think you could do it in store. You don't need to use your sister just tell them you are at Uni.

Apple ship the computers from the Far East so it can take a while but not too long and you can track your order.

I certainly am in the camp of once you have had a Mac you don't go back but I don't game on computers.

I'm guessing the invite that apple have sent out with the words "spotlight is on Notebooks" might be a little clue ?

Are you sure that you receive a 3 years warranty with Further Education discount?

It might be different compared to the Higher Education discount, just wondering

Not sure matey as its new to me

I'll hopefully use the uni link i have if thats the one that gives the 3 yr warranty
