New MacBook Pro

Hi !

I purchased the new MacBook Pro the other day. My first Mac so things are very different from Windows 7.

I need some advice please.

Whats the easiest way to transfer all my apps and music over to my new mac from my pc?

Oh and any tips for me?

Music: Stick it all on a USB/Firewire HDD and move

Apps: What exactly are you looking to move?

its ok i've found the folder with all of my apps in i can copy and paste now. Thanks for the reply :-)

Your Windows applications won't work on your Mac, 95% of your documents will be fine but your apps won't work.

If you want/need to run Windows apps on the Mac then you'll either need to Boot Camp it and dual boot Windows, or use a virtualisation product like Parallels or VMWare Fusion to run Windows inside OS X.

Think he's referring to all things iTunes, ie iPhone/iPad/iPod apps
