New MacMini & iMacs?

With the keynote address scheduled for this Thursday and it being titled "it’s been way too long" will we finally see a long overdue update to the MacMini & iMac product lines?

I am definitely hoping for a new MacMini, hope we get some nice customisable options too!

Two years old is hardly ancient. Mine is the same age and I think of it as barely run in. Just be fine for another 3 years at least.

If the new imac is touchscreen may well get one for the kitchen. OSX isn't really geared to touch interface though so doubt it'll happen.

Hoping for 4k-5k screen in new iMac... that would be nice... not that I can afford one with house move & other bits in the near future... oh well... Dec 2012 iMac is still going strong with 3770k & gtx680, no need to upgrade... but love the screen in rMBP!

Will probably want second gen like with the rMBP for evolution of graphics driving that resolution anyway.

The Mac Mini will get a slight CPU / GPU refresh, and be a sealed unit as the ram and PCIe flash drives will be non upgradable.

I'm waiting to buy a Mac Mini and have held off as they might get upgraded. Although it makes sense to upgrade them, there have been none of the tell tell signs that a new one is coming in the next few days (you can still easily buy the current one and no parts leaks or anything similar).

I don't really care what update it gets, I'd just hate to buy something now for it to be upgraded in 2 weeks.

I see that Apple have downgraded the Mini? Sad really as it's such a popular little machine. I love mine but can't see much point going for this new version. No Quad option now.
