New itx build, some advice needed please

Hi,
I am literally starting from scratch so need everything including case, monitor and keyboard. Except OS and ssd's/hdd's I have these already.

I want a nice small compact system as it will be sat on my desk so matx is the route I will be going down.

My budget is about £1,500.

Main uses will be gaming, and some video encoding.

I don't want to go watercooling yet but will like to have this option for the future.

I prefer intel for motherboard/cpu and I'm not particularly fussed about amd/Nvidia for graphics.

Am thinking socket 1150 Haswell for motherboard.

Monitor size max 27" but no smaller than 24"

I play a lot of lotro and bf4 and it would be nice to max these games out.

Any advice would be great

You like the case? picked it because it has plenty of options for water cooling.

I am not sure of the Phanteks evolve case its a little too big for what I am after. I prefer the Corsair Carbide 240.

Other than that really like it.

I am in the process of doing my own basket and will post up as soon as I have filled it.

thanks

I know I mentioned in my OP that I didn't want to wc immediately but I might stick a Corsair Hydro in to cool the cpu.

Doubt the gfx card fits, it has a fat heatpipe sticking out its side.

Its also wider than the retention bracket.

If Stulid post I have nothing for you that can beat his build except to consider 970 if your PC will be on desk, 290 can get very loud

Yeah didn't think of that. You don't happen to know which 970's are the coolest by any chance?
