Hey guys,
I'm looking to upgrade my Q6600 @2.4GHz (Non-OC), 8GB RAM, Asus IP35 Xe Pro MB to something a bit more 2014/2015. I got my system in 2008 so it's doing well. I use it for a bit of gaming but mostly video processing and editing (as well as a streaming server for my home network). I would like some advice on what MB, CPU and RAM would work well together - possibly for some mild (and relatively easy) overclocking. I would prefer Intel. The other bits from my old system that I will be keeping for the moment are:
Corsair 650W power supply
Antec 900 case
Gainward 9800GTX+ 512MB (although at some point I want to update this).
Any advice you can give me would be much appreciated.
